In today’s design spotlight I am thrilled to share with you the Champagne Chambre, a petite studio on the Upper East Side.
Project Brief:

- A complete bedroom with a dressing table/desk
- A great napping sofa
- A dining area to seat 3 people
- A dedicated exercise area
- Fabulous bar and wine storage
- Tons of shoe & clothing storage

Project Challenges:
- The entire apartment is 275 sf
- Small & awkward closet
- Extra large kitchen island
- Poor ceiling lighting

Project Principles:
- Cozy, comfy, and cohesive
- Effortlessly elegant
- Soft, sumptuous, subtle, and serene
- Born from the beach…created for the city

Project Strategy:
- A custom L shaped cornice & drapery delineate and unify the bedroom
- Sets of table & floor lamps provide much needed lighting and define the different spaces in the home
- A dresser under the TV and entry console provide much needed storage
- Wall shelves in the bedroom and kitchen leverage vertical space and provide convenient storage for frequently used items

Our Client’s Words:

“Madelaine delivered more than I ever could have imagined! My home is feminine, classy, and cozy, swathed in sumptuous neutral fabrics, complemented by gold, rose, and ocean blue accents that connect to my South Florida roots. My friends and building staff are blown away and can’t believe it’s the same apartment. It looks straight out of a magazine!”

I hope you enjoyed this project spotlight, and if it’s inspired you to look at your own home in a new light, please do not hesitate to reach out and schedule a Complimentary Consultation.
Till next time…
Madelaine
